MH-17
DRN has recovered data from smartphones of flight MH-17 victims. This of course involved seriously damaged smartphones. The background of this event has left a deep impression on everyone working at DRN. We have offered all victims free recovery.
Laptop in oven
One of our recoveries had the following story. A family went on holiday and as a precaution they put their MacBook in the oven so that it would not be taken away in the event of a burglary. When they came back, they had forgotten this and turned on the oven. Result: a melted laptop with important data! Eventually we were able to restore the data, even from a melted laptop.
Overridden laptop
After a customer has had an accident, his laptop flies out of the car and ends up on the highway. Several cars and even trucks drive over the laptop, causing it to be seriously damaged. The owner had already given up hope because of the condition of the laptop. Fortunately we were able to fully restore the data!
